This condition is for a new one as well as used snowboard gear as well.

  1. Beginners

Beginners should opt for the type of board which is small, easy to turn about different corners and playful on the mountains. Since you have yet to pick up a terrain you like, so a small board should serve you just nicely.

You need a board which can sustain your weight. Sometimes, borders ignore weight and as a result, they keep on slipping off of their boards until they change it. A chart is usually present with every shopkeeper selling boards which can give you an idea!

There are many types of boards but the traditional ones are:

  • Camber

Camber provides a little pop to the person in the middle of the board. That is, the middle is a little above from the ground allowing you to pop. Even the used Burton snowboards in camber style consist of this little pop.

  • Rocker

Rocker is a complete curve from the middle and usually for expert riders because it is hard to handle.

  • Mixed Camber

A mixing chamber is preferred by every rider because of its design. It is rocker and camber together in a single board which makes it easier to ride along the mountains.
